Some of the Substance Designer environment materials I made for "Project ORCS"! As main/ only Material Artist on the project I created an extensive Substance material library that we used for characters, environments and props.
I joined the team during pre-production and quickly established a material style and efficient Substance Designer pipeline based on the Art Direction of Glenn Rane (ex-Blizzard). We wanted to take the feel and imperfections of sculpts and hand-painted work and translate it to efficient, procedural materials. All materials you see are 100% Substance Designer with some custom nodes I made to speed things up and push the art style.
